As a dedicated safety officer and passionate football enthusiast, Michael is a driving force behind the Martins Chineme Memorial Football Foundation, established in memory of his late brother, Martins Chineme.

With a strong commitment to fairness, justice, and player safety, Michael brings a unique perspective to the foundation's mission. His love for football runs deep, having played the game at a grassroots level himself. However, his playing career was cut short due to an injury that wasn't adequately supported or managed. This experience highlighted thàe challenges faced by many young athletes in Nigeria, where access to resources, support, and opportunities can be limited by connections and patronage.

This personal experience has fueled Michael's determination to create a more level playing field for young footballers. Through his work with the foundation, he aims to promote a safer, more equitable environment for players both on and off the pitch. By advocating for player safety, supporting young athletes, and holding administrators accountable, Michael hopes to make a positive impact on the sport he loves, in honor of his brother's memory.

As a valued member of the Martins Chineme Memorial Football Foundation team, Michael collaborates with like-minded individuals to drive meaningful change in the football community and ensure that talented young players have the support they need to succeed.

‘Tosin is a sports lawyer with over a decade of post-qualification experience. He is passionate about defending players’ rights, having successfully represented many before international & national sports tribunals and civil courts. 

This influenced his decision to volunteer as part of the Foundation, championing improved welfare for footballers.

He presently serves as the Secretary.
